Trips and Outings
If you are interested in any of the outings below, please contact the Events Secretary as soon as possible giving the following details:
1 - Name
2 - Beccles u3a Membership Number
3 - Contact phone number.
You can either book a trip online or download the printed booking form and post it to the Events Secretary.
Please Note - Outings and Events are only open to members of Beccles u3a. Existing rules are in place to cover situations where a member needs to be accompanied by a carer who need not be a member.
Outings will be cancelled if we do not have enough people fully paid up a month before the outing. If you have paid anything and the outing has to be cancelled, you will be fully refunded.
Booking an Outing
Before booking a place on one of the outings, it is a requirement that you read the Outings Terms and Conditions.
Details on how you can make payments are as follows:
- Payment by Bank Transfer to :
Account - Beccles u3a / Account Number - 49232468 / Sort Code - 30-99-50 / Ref - Name + Trip Title
. - Payment by cheques, made payable to 'Beccles u3a', please include your Name + Trip Title on the reverse, and send to :
'Events Secretary, 5 The Walnuts, Worlingham, NR34 7EL (contact telephone: 01502 716994)'.
. - Payment in cash or by cheque can be made at a monthly meeting.
Please ensure you get a receipt at the time of payment.
Impaired Mobility
If you require a wheelchair or have a problem walking, please contact the Events Secretary before booking any of the trips. Whilst all the trips are booked with disabled access in mind, there may be some that include uneven terrain, steps or getting on and off coaches and minibuses.

We will attempt to pick up enroute if possible.
Please will anyone booking a trip be aware they will need to be physically able to board and alight the coach. The coach company is willing to take scooters on a prearranged basis.
Exact pick-up points will be confirmed nearer the time of the trip. You can view this information on the Beccles u3a Website and Beccles u3a Facebook page. We will contact you prior to the departure date of the trip to confirm your required pick-up point.
