Jazz Appreciation
Future meetings going forwards for your diary:
25th February - live music with Martin Eaton and Phil Brooke, topic - "Remembering Bing"
25th March - "New Beginnings & Spring" - theme - sharing and listening to jazz tracks
22nd April - live jazz with Phil Brooke (guitar) and Owen Morgan (bass)
And subsequent meetings this year - 27th May, 24th June, 22nd July, 26th August, 23rd September, 28th October, 25th November, December TBA.
Regular 4th Wednesday each month, meetings at the Waveney Centre, 2 to 4 pm.
We generally choose a theme and invite members to offer a track to share. And occasionally we have "live" jazz musicians along to play.
If you are interested in exploring the world of jazz with like-minded people, please make contact via the Bird. We have jazz appreciation beginners alongside some more knowledgeable folk so no need at all to be a jazz expert. The Waveney Centre is a great venue for us - large space, great sound system, comfortable seating and tea/coffee kiosk for refreshments.
