Bus Pass Explorers
Come with us for adventurous days of discovery! Find hidden corners of deepest East Anglia. Enjoy exciting special events in unexpected local places. Or just have a nice time looking at the view. The choice is yours. Too young to have a bus pass? Lucky you! but you can still come with us if you pay, it's currently £3 max per bus journey.
Any member can propose a trip, on any day of the week including weekends, using our dedicated WhatsApp group. That person informs everyone of which buses we will use and why they chose the final destination. So contact the convenor via 'the bird' (top right) to get involved. Please let me know if you don't use WhatsApp and we can organise another way to keep you in the loop.
At the end of March, we made a trip to Sheringham. We had a long drive through the early spring countryside for lunch in a mostly sunny, bustling seaside resort. It certainly felt like a holiday!

In our first month of activities, a few of us had an enjoyable walk in Gunton Woods to admire the snowdrops. - February 2026
Early in March we went to ancient Wymondham Abbey, followed by a delicious lunch at one of Britain's oldest pubs.
