It was good to see over 100 members gathered in the Public Hall for the October Monthly Meeting, despite inclement, autumnal weather. Professor Peter Gascoyne, a "Beccles boy", told the story of his career in biomedical research and the new technologies he pioneered that have contributed to more economic personalisation of medicine now and in the future. He answered some excellent questions and showed us some of the micro-devices he had developed.
