MONTHLY MEETINGS
Our monthly meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in The Public Hall in Smallgate, Beccles. Doors open at 9.45am and refreshments are served until 10.20am. During this time there is a chance to join Beccles U3A and to consider Interest Groups that you may wish to join or suggestions for further Groups. Social Events are also advertised on a notice board. Members of the Executive Committee are available to assist you with any queries.
The meeting starts at 10.30am when the Chairperson carries out any Business for the meeting, followed by a Guest Speaker. We anticipate that the Monthly Meeting will close by 12 noon.

OUTINGS AND HOLIDAYS

A DEPOSIT (20% or £10, whichever is greater) OR FULL PAYMENT is required when booking any Outing or Holiday. Bookings must be made using the Booking Form, which can be downloaded using the link in the side bar. All cheques must be made out to Beccles U3A social account. Please let Irene know if you have difficulty downloading or printing the Booking form.
Each event has a link to its relevant website, where possible, but bookings can only be made using the official U3A booking form. Please do not book an outing using BOOK NOW buttons on external webpages.

The outing to Orford offers a flexible choice: members may explore Orford Ness, Orford Castle, or both.
It’s a slightly unusual trip, but a rewarding one, with striking landscapes, Cold War history, and one of England’s best‑preserved medieval keeps waiting to be discovered.
Cost: Cost is £22pp for coach travel only, plus £5 for the Ness ferry. All entry fees are paid individually on arrival.

One of England's great archaeological sites, West Stow has extensive indoor galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village surrounded by 125 acres of unspoilt countryside.
Fullers Mill is a seven-acre garden and is a tranquil, enchanting waterside oasis located in the heart of Suffolk. It combines dappled woodland with a rich collection of shrubs, perennials, lilies and marginal plants to create a year-round garden.
